Jones previously worked at Northern Trust Global Investments in several capacities, including as global chief operating officer of the firm’s passive and quantitative unit.

He has worked in senior operational roles at a range of US investment firms, including as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at fund of hedge funds Aurora Investment Management, and as executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Calamos Asset Management.

Carne now has 24 full-time independent fund directors serving on fund boards around the world. In July, Vanessa Barrett was added to the firm's team of independent fund directors in the Cayman Islands.
