has added The
Binder, Chiate, Oratz & Brown Team in Los
Angeles, CA, from
Merrill Lynch’s private banking investment group. The team manages $3.1 billion in assets and liabilities. Binder, Chiate and Oratz all spent the last 13
years as managing directors within the private banking and investment groups at
Merrill Lynch, said. Prior to Merrill, Binder spent
eight years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a vice president in the private client
services division. Chiate also spent eight
years at Goldman Sachs, where he began his career as a financial analyst in the
investment banking division and later served as a vice president in the private
client services division. Prior to Merrill, Oratz spent seven years at
Goldman Sachs as a vice president in the private client services division. He
also spent two years at JP Morgan, where he served as a relationship manager
and credit analyst in the private bank. Prior
to joining UBS, Brown spent ten years in the private banking and investment group
at Merrill Lynch.
