Goldman Sachs Brings In Former World Bank President As Chairman Of International Advisors

New York-headquartered has named Robert Zoellick, former
president of the World Bank Group, as chairman of the firm’s 16-strong team of international
advisors. Based in Washington, DC, Zoellick will advise Goldman Sachs on global
strategic issues and oversee the work of its international advisors. Zoellick completed his five-year term as president of the World Bank Group
in June 2012. Prior to his appointment to the World Bank in 2007, he served for
a year as vice chairman, international, at Goldman Sachs. The Goldman Sachs Group is a global investment banking, securities and
investment management firm that provides a range of financial services to corporations,
financial institutions, governments and high net worth individuals.
