Global Consulting Firm Opens "Near-Shore" Development Centre In Costa Rica

business consultancy, program delivery and technology implementation
services to the financial services sector, is opening its first office
in Costa Rica.
Over a two- to three-year time period, Rule Financial expects to
create over 300 new high-end technology jobs in the country, the firm
said in a statement. By choosing Costa Rica as its newest “near shore” location, Rule
Financial will offer the benefits of time-zone alignment when delivering
large projects for clients based in the US and Canada. The firm said
that it joins an extensive network of more than 250 multi-national
companies operating in Costa Rica, further reinforcing it as a viable
location from which to execute its IT projects. Meanwhile, Alex Fernandez, with more than 16 years’ experience in the
technology industry, has joined Rule Financial as its Costa Rica
country head and has served at Microsoft and Oracle. Headquartered in London, Rule Financial has a presence in London, New
York, Toronto and Boston, MA, and delivers technical design,
implementation and support services from “near shore” facilities in
Poland, Spain and Costa Rica.
