TD Asset Management Unveils Four New Funds, Two Retirement Portfolios

Canada-based , the manager of TD Mutual
Funds, has launched four new funds and two retirement portfolios. The retirement portfolios will aim to help investor
savings last longer by avoiding volatile markets while seeking modest growth. As
such, the solutions will provide investors with exposure to the firm’s low
volatility equities strategy, its fixed income approach, and proprietary risk
reduction strategy. TDAM has also launched four new funds with exposure to
markets outside of Canada
and which include two new low volatility options. The new funds are the US Low Volatility Fund, the Emerging
Markets Low Volatility Fund, US Monthly Income Fund-C$ and the International
Equity Fund. As of August 31, 2013, TDAM was the fourth largest mutual
fund company in Canada,
with C$75.2 billion ($72.7 billion) invested in its mutual funds.
