UK-headquartered , a claims outsourcing provider
and tax reclamation specialist for private banks, high net worth individuals
and institutions, has appointed David Gilbert as global business development manager
and Tania Dupoy as sales and relationship manager. They will be based at Goal Group’s London office, it said in a statement. Gilbert was most recently regional sales director at
Interactive Data, a provider of financial market data, analytics, and related
solutions to financial institutions. In his new role, Gilbert reports to Noah Wortman,
director of global business development, based in Philadelphia. Dupoy meanwhile, has been working mostly as a senior consultant
for both Merrill Lynch and Fidelity, specialising in the complex area of global
corporate actions. Her career began at Standard and Poor’s. Goal was founded in 1989 and now serves clients across Asia,
Europe and North America. The firm works with
persons and institutions which have suffered financial loss from owning shares in
a company where there has been mis-management and/or unlawful behaviour. It estimates that between 2000 and 2007,
nearly $12 billion had been “left on the table” by shareholders who had failed
to seek redress for their losses, and is currently working on an estimate of un-reclaimed
losses for 2008-11.
