Eliane Chavagnon

has confirmed that it will close a Ligonier,
IN, office on November 15, 2013, as more clients conduct banking business
online. BNY Mellon, which has around 30 wealth management offices
around the US,
said it has no plans to close the other remaining office in Ligonier. In May, the New York-listed bank announced a two-year
recruiting campaign for its wealth management business that will
result in the addition of around 100 new positions in the US and abroad,
reflecting what the firm described as its “profound commitment” to the wealth
