Moisson joins Baring from Lipper where he held a number of senior research roles, most recently as head of UK and cross-border research, responsible for providing analysis of UK and pan-European activities, and specialising in research into flows and general industry trends. Before this, he was at Fitzrovia International from 1999, which was acquired by Lipper in October 2004.

Reporting to David Stevenson, head of product and business development, in his new role, Moisson will have global responsibility for working with the sales teams to identify trends and opportunities in the market, along with providing general market analysis and insight on the mutual fund and institutional business.

In other recent hires at the firm, last month Baring Asset Management appointed Anne Lui as head of marketing, Asia ex-Japan, based in Hong Kong.
