Janney Continues Hiring Drive

Janney Montgomery Scott, the Philadelphia, Pa-headquartered
wealth management and investment banking firm, has appointed former Morgan
Stanley senior manager Vincent Crognale to its Greenville, Del.,
branch office as first vice president/Wealth Management. Crognale will be joined by private client assistant Deborah
Carlton. At Morgan Stanley, Crognale worked for 13 years. Prior to
that, he worked with Wheat First Butcher Singer from 1995 until 2000. has made a number of recent appointments: Steven
Sapirstein was named vice president/assistant branch manager in Boca Raton, FL, while
further north David Seigerman joined as first vice president/investments in Bedminster, NJ. At the end of June, Janney recruited Neil McCauley as senior
vice president of wealth management in Lancaster,
PA. In June, Jerry Lombard,
president of the firm’s Private Client Group, said the firm has hired 17
advisors since the start of 2013, adding that the firm expects to add more in
the coming months. Janney is an independently operated subsidiary of The Penn
Mutual Life Insurance Company.
