Leawood, KS-based Palmer Square Capital Management, the hedge fund-of-fund specialist, has hired Jeffrey Fox as executive director.

Reporting to chief investment officer Angie Long, Fox will focus on managing the analytics, trading and modeling behind the firm’s structured credit and collateralized loan obligations platform.

He will also play a key role in new product development and working with the rating agencies, the firm said.

Fox has over a decade of fixed income experience and previously served as a managing director at Sandler O’Neill and Partners, an investment banking firm and broker-dealer.

Palmer Square Capital Management serves institutional clients, family offices, registered investment advisory firms and broker-dealers.

The firm is part of Montage Investments, a group of institutional investment managers that together manage some $15 billion for a range of investors.
