UBS Wealth Management’s former head of fund selection, Stanley Ngan, has joined Sun Life Hong Kong as head of asset management and pensions. Ngan took on the newly created position on 16 April and reports to Belinda Luk, senior vice president of Sun Life’s pensions and group business, a spokesperson for Sun Life told WealthBriefingAsia. Earlier this week, Zurich-listed UBS announced that pre-tax profits at its wealth management arms, both in the Americas
and other regions of the world, rose in the first three months of 2013 from the
previous quarter, while new business inflows in some segments rose to pre-2008
crisis highs.
