BlackRock Appoints Global Equities Director

New York City-headquartered investment manager BlackRock has appointed James Bristow as a director in the global equities team. He will be responsible for running focused global portfolios. Mr Bristow joins BlackRock from JP Morgan Investment Management where he managed a range of investment funds. He began his career at ABN Amro Rothschild where he gained experience in European equity capital markets. BlackRock recently completed its merger with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers to create a firm with $1.046 trillion in combined assets under management.
