Brooks Macdonald Property Arm Makes Senior Hire

Braemar Estates, the property management arm of investment firm Brooks Macdonald Group, has appointed Chris March to the newly-created role of chief executive.
He will oversee the growth strategies of the company, which currently manages £1 billion ($1.5 billion) of assets, including some of the UK’s most iconic residential properties such as Clapham One, Beetham Towers and Grosvenor’s One Park West.
With over 30 years of experience in property management, March is an associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and joins from Allsop Residential Investment Management. At Allsop he worked as property director and was responsible for property and block management service delivery throughout the UK.
Prior to this, he was business development director for Countrywide Managing Agents, overseeing business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales and marketing.
Braemar Estates manages a leasehold portfolio of 4,625 residential properties as well as providing a full management service to the property funds operated by Brooks Macdonald Funds.
