Former Schroders Bond Manager Joins Santander AM

Santander
Asset Management, part of Spanish banking group Santander, has appointed former
Schroder's bond manager Adam Cordery as global head of European fixed income.
Cordery
will be responsible for Santander Asset Management's European fixed income and
credit teams, overseeing over €13 billion ($19.9 billion) of assets under management.
He joins Santander
having previously worked at Schroders, where he was in charge of building
portfolios and managing European fixed income funds in euros and sterling. "Adam
Cordery's appointment to our team will strengthen Santander Asset Management's
capabilities in this asset class, with a special focus in the area of credit. Adam
has proven experience, has delivered excellent results and will play a key role
in building our company's international profile," said Dolores Ybarra, Santander Asset Management's global chief investment
officer. Santander Asset Management is present
in 11 countries in Europe, Latin America and North America
and has assets under management of over €153 billion.
