Roger Harrington has established Harrington Capital Management, an independent asset and wealth management company based in Dallas, TX. Harrington is president of the new firm and in this role will manage over $60 million in client assets. Investment advisory services are offered through WFG Advisors, an SEC-registered investment advisor. Harrington Capital Management is a branch office of Dallas-based Williams Financial Group, a privately-held financial services firm which provides brokerage, advisory and investment services to some 280 affiliated independent financial professionals. Through this network, WFG has over $7 billion in client assets under management. “Over the past four years the WFG independent broker-dealer offering has drawn a lot of attention from wirehouse advisors like Roger, who most recently was affiliated with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney,” said John Carruth, head of national recruiting at WFG. “After 25-plus years spent managing financial assets, I am excited to be founding my own company and will continue to provide the personalized service that my clients expect from me,” Harrington added. Harrington Capital Management offers active portfolio management, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance services, non-purpose loans and education planning. The firm serves individuals, multi-generational families, small- to medium-sized corporations and foundations.
