MPL Appoints Asia Business Development Director

Cayman Islands-registered alternatives manager, Managing Partners Limited, has appointed Benjamin Lim as its business development director for Asia. Lim will be based in Singapore and will report to Jeremy Leach, MPL’s managing director.

Lim was previously chief marketing officer for Allianz Global Investors in Asia. Before this he was head of business development Asia for Aviva Investors Singapore and also held a similar role at Aberdeen Asset Management. He has previously worked at Fidelity Investments and American International Assurance, also in Singapore.

“Benjamin has the experience and network of contacts to add a great deal of strength to our business development team in Asia, where investors have a strong appetite for the steady, incremental returns that traded life products offer,” Jeremy Leach, managing director at MPL, said in a statement.
