Withers Bergman has ramped up its offering for clients with complex cross-border tax affairs with a new partner on the team.

Patrick Cox joins Withers Bergman’s international corporate tax group from Brown Rudnick, where he was chair of the firm’s tax group.

He helps clients develop effective tax strategies for cross-border and domestic business transactions. He works with clients such as businesses, investors and financial intermediaries.

“The ICTG was developed as a key driver in building Withers Bergman's profile as the firm for successful business owners who need sophisticated domestic and international corporate tax advice,” said Mitchell Kops, who heads the group.

“The hiring of Patrick Cox, with his skill set and depth of knowledge in the field of corporate tax, complements the rest of the practice group and adds tremendous depth and breadth to the team,” he added.

Withers Bergman has offices in New York, New Haven, Greenwich, London, BVI, Geneva, Hong Kong, Milan, Zurich and Singapore.
