Emirates NBD Bank, the Dubai-based financial services firm,
has adopted global investment management technology provider Advent Software's
asset and wealth management platform for its Singapore operations.
Emirates NBD Bank has a private banking and asset management business
in Singapore that covers a range of asset classes, including real estate
advisory, trusts and a range of Shariah-compliant services. Its regional
representative office was established in November 2006 after the merger of
Emirates Bank International and National Bank of Dubai. The branch began operations in July
2010 and is supervised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The technology upgrade is part of the company's private
banking growth strategy in Asia, it said in a
statement. "We are confident in mix of technology and
regional industry knowledge to help us meet our business needs across
geographies, and we will continue to roll out its solutions in our offices in Riyadh and London,"
said Pierre Pissaloux, general manager for wealth management at Emirates NBD. Advent Software platforms for asset and wealth include
Advent Portfolio Exchange, Moxy, Advent Rules Manager, Advent Revenue
Center, Advent General
Ledger Exchange, Tradex, Advent Corporate Actions and Advent Custodial Data.
