Close Private Asset Management has chosen front-office application, Pulse Symphony from Pulse Software Systems. CPAM is part of the private client business of UK merchant bank Close Brothers Group. It specialises in managing the investments of high net worth individuals, both onshore and offshore, their pension funds, family trusts and charities. “We decided to review the systems market in some detail to ensure that we were using the best available solution for us, especially in light of anticipated further growth and development of our business,” said Martin Andrew, head of Private Clients at Close. “We were looking for a cost effective solution that offered increased operational efficiency, greater automation and scope for straight-through-processing and industry-leading regulatory compliance and associated reporting. “In addition we wanted a system that could enhance our ability to deal with regulations covering issues such as KYC, product suitability, appetite for risk, and client relationship management,” he said.
