Canada’s Dynamic Funds has launched the High Yield Credit Fund to invest in a range of credit securities.

The fund will invest in high-yield bonds, investment-grade corporate bonds, preferred shares and bank loans, among other credit investments. It will be managed by the new GCICL credit team in Montreal, which is led by Marc-André Gaudreau, vice president and portfolio manager.

Meanwhile, the firm has also appointed Hetal Patel as a portfolio analyst within the GCICL credit team. Patel has over eight years of research and management experience, primarily in the high-yield credit market.

Dynamic Funds is a division of GCICL, which is a subsidiary of DundeeWealth, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Scotiabank.
