Davis Polk & Wardwell, the New York-headquartered international law firm, has strengthened its Hong Kong office with two new partners. Martin Rogers and James Wadham join the firm to help place Davis Polk's Hong Kong and Asia franchise at par with its US office in terms of volume of work. The company now offers capital markets, merger and acquisition, direct investment, corporate governance, risk management, internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, litigation and white collar crime defence work. Rogers was previously the Asia-Pacific head of litigation and dispute resolution and the Asia-Pacific co-head of financial services regulation at the Hong Kong arm of Clifford Chance. Wadham, also from Clifford Chance in Hong Kong, has advised some of the largest banks in regulatory matters and provided litigation services. Davis Polk & Wardwell opened its Hong Kong branch in 1993 and is the firm's largest non-US office.
