LGT Capital Partners, the investment house, has acquired Clerestory
Capital Advisors, a New York-based firm providing investors with global access
to real estate via funds, co-investments and secondary investments. CCA launched its first fund of funds - focusing on small, opportunistic
real estate funds on a global basis - in 2007, when it was established by
Joanne Douvas and Tommy Brown. "We are convinced that this acquisition will bring benefits to
clients of both organizations. Acquiring CCA will enhance our investment expertise
in the real estate market and enable us to broaden and strengthen our multi-alternatives
investment firm," Roberto Paganoni, chief executive officer of LGT Capital
Partners, said in a statement. LGT Capital Partners has offices in London,
Beijing, Switzerland,
Ireland, and the US. LGT, the Liechtenstein-based private banking group, has combined its
asset management activities under the brand of LGT Capital Partners.
