EMEA Manager Levy Takes Over Baring Russia Fund

Mike Levy, who joined Baring Asset Management as a senior investment manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in July, is taking over the $157 million Baring Russia fund, WealthBriefing can confirm. "Now that he has been here for a few months and received the required regulatory approvals, he is taking over the Baring Russia fund as lead manager," a spokesperson said. Levy will work closely with Matthias Siller, who remains as back-up manager and lead manager on the Baring Emerging Europe fund. No changes will be made to the fund's investment approach and process as a result of the move.
