Sprott Asset Management Hires Manager For Tax-Efficient Portfolio

Toronto-based Sprott Asset Management has hired Jason Mayer as a portfolio manager, focused on the firm's tax-efficient flow-through product offerings.

Mayer will join Paul Wong in co-managing Sprott Resource Class, a tax-advantaged mutual fund that serves as the roll-over vehicle for the firm's flow-through offerings.

Mayer has over 10 years of investment industry experience and joins from Middlefield Capital Corporation, where he was lead portfolio manager on a number of investment funds.

Sprott Asset Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sprott, is an investment manager that serves high net worth investors, institutions and endowments.
