Glenmede, the privately-held investment and wealth management firm, has taken on Timothy Fisk as a vice president and wealth advisor in Philadelphia, PA. Fisk’s areas of focus include wealth transfer, fiduciary, and financial and charitable planning. He joins from Merrill Lynch, where he served as vice president and trust specialist within the wealth structuring group. In that role, he was responsible for fiduciary business development efforts across four states in the Midwest/Southeast. He also previously served as a trust officer for Merrill's Chicago-based ultra high net worth clients. In a separate move, Glenmede has named Jeffrey Coron director of institutional and intermediary distribution for Glenmede Investment Management. Coron’s primary responsibility will be the placement of Glenmede strategies on intermediary platforms and the growth of institutional and consultant relationships. Also based in Philadelphia, he will report to Sally Wirts, chief administrative officer of GIM. Most recently, Coron served as senior vice president and head of the client relations group for Advisors Asset Management, having previously served as head of the firm's business development group. Glenmede also boosted its Philadelphia office at the start of October with the addition of Michael James as director of family wealth advisory. James is tasked with developing the firm's offering for entrepreneurial and multi-generational private clients, overseeing a client service team in Philadelphia. Glenmede has $21 billion in assets under management for HNW individuals, families and family offices, as well as endowment, foundation and institutional clients. As well as its Philadelphia headquarters, the firm has offices in Ohio, Delaware, New Jersey and New York.
