BNY Mellon has made two senior hires for its wealth
management office in Atlanta, adding a senior private banker and sales
director. Jonathan Blackwood, senior private banker, will manage BNY
Mellon Wealth Management’s private banking activities in Georgia, reporting to
regional private banking director Lisa Simington. David Noosinow, senior sales
director, will work on business development throughout Georgia, as well as
Lexington, Louisville and Kentucky, reporting to the regional sales manager of
the Mid-Altlantic and Central, Garrett Alton. Blackwood joins BNY Mellon from Wells Fargo, where he worked
for over 20 years, most recently as a senior vice president and senior private
banker for the company’s Atlanta private bank. Noosinow has nearly 30 years of financial services
experience, having spent the past seven years as vice president, financial
advisor with Bernstein Global Wealth Management in Atlanta, where he managed
sales strategies and client relationships. In other recent developments, in October BNY Mellon
appointed six professionals, expanding its Southern California and Manhattan,
NY, offices. BNY Mellon Wealth Management has nearly $178 billion in private
client assets. Last month the firm reported that its overall assets under
management rose 13 per cent year-over-year and 5 per cent
sequentially, hitting a record $1.4 trillion at 30 September.
