Sal Oppenheim (Schweiz) Reports First Half Profits Leap

Zurich-based Bank Sal. Oppenheim (Schweiz) has reported a net profit increase 29 per cent in the first half to SFr14.1 million ($11 million) on revenues 36 per cent higher revenues of SFr49.6 million. Client assets under management were SFr6.5 billion at 31 December 2005. The bank, which has around 110 employees is 88 per cent owned by Cologne-based private bank Sal. Oppenheim and 12 per cent management owned.
