Brewin Dolphin, the UK-listed private client wealth management firm, has brought in Andrew Wheeler as a divisional director and head of its office in Ipswich. Wheeler, an investment manager for private clients, self-invested pensions, trusts and charities, joins Toby Sellers, Nicholas Barber and Matthew Shields at the new office in Felaw Maltings. He previously worked at the wealth and investment management division of Barclays. “We are committed to growing our presence in East Anglia and this appointment is a big step in achieving our goals," said Robin Beer, Midlands regional director at Brewin Dolphin. In other recent moves, at the end of August the firm added Ian Cooper - latterly of Quilter - as an investment companies analyst based in Newcastle. Brewin Dolphin has over 40 offices nationally and £25 billion (about $40.2 billion) in funds under management.
