Symetra Bolsters Network With $400 Million Advisory Firm

Bellevue, WA-based Symetra Investment Services, an independent broker-dealer
and RIA, has added Seattle First Asset Management, a $400 million stock and portfolio advisory firm, to its network of independent
financial advisors. Seattle First’s founders, Floyd Jones and Steven Jones,
were formerly affiliated with First Washington Corporation in Seattle, WA. The
father-son team has 84 years of combined experience in the financial services
industry and manages over $400 million in total client assets. Floyd Jones and Steven Jones joined First Washington in 1989 as an owner and vice president respectively. Floyd Jones began his career as an account executive at Dean Witter, where he
became partner and manager, while Steven Jones started with Drexel Burnham Lambert. Symetra Investment Services is a subsidiary of New
York-listed Symetra Financial Corporation.
