The PrivateBank has appointed John Keegan as managing director and head of private wealth for the Michigan region, and has named Bruce Beaumont managing director and investment advisor.

Keegan joins the firm from Bank of America/US Trust, where he has spent most of his nearly 25-year career. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and Michigan market investment director. In his new role, he reports to Kristine Garrett, head of private wealth.

Beaumont has 30 years of experience in investment management, including over 20 years with Bank of America/US Trust and its predecessors.

The firm also bolstered its private wealth team in June, with the addition of managing directors David Pisarkiewicz and Chris Williams. Pisarkiewicz and Williams were also appointed as investment advisor and private banker respectively. They report to Chris Carman, regional manager of private wealth.

The PrivateBank is part of PrivateBancorp, which as of June 30 had 34 offices across nine states and $12.9 billion in assets.
