String Of Appointments In Deutsche's Trust, Securities Services Business

Deutsche Bank's global transaction banking division has announced a raft of appointments in its trust and securities services and cash management for financial institutions business.

The German lender has appointed four TSS/CMFI region heads who will be responsible for strengthening local relationships.

Gary Vaughan will assume the new role of region head for the Americas. In addition to that, he will continue as co-head of Americas corporate trust for the trust and agency services business.

Mrugank Paranjape will become region head in Asia. Paranjape will continue as direct securities services chief for Asia-Pacific.

Jose Sicilia will become region head in Western Europe. He will stay on as chief of EMEA corporate trust for the trust and agency services business.

Sriram Iyer will assume the new role of region head in Central Eastern Europe Middle East & Africa. Iyer will continue as GTB head for MENA.

Mike Hughes has been appointed to the newly created role of global head of funds Services, which combines TSS/CMFI’s alternative funds services and domestic funds srvices businesses to increase its focus on the non-bank financial institution segment. He will continue as GTB country chief for the UK, the Channel Islands and Ireland.

Edwin Reyes will be in charge of the newly combined depositary receipts and transferable custody receipts offering, which provides a wider range of depositary receipt services from a single source in order to address the complex needs of clients. Reyes maintains his role as global head of depositary receipts.

Finally, Daire McCormack has been appointed to the newly created role of global head of Escrow Solutions.

Satvinder Singh, global head of TSS/CMFI at Deutsche Bank, said in a statement that the changes are hoped to strengthen the bank's ability to help clients navigate and succeed in today’s challenging environment.
