IAM Appoints Managing Director, Establishes Jersey Office

International Asset Monitor has appointed Andrew
Whelan as managing director to set up a Jersey
office. Whelan, who has worked in the investment
industry for 26 years, was a founding partner of the Ermitage Group following
its management buyout in 2006 from Liberty Life, later leaving Ermitage when it
was sold to Nexar Capital Group in July last year. Mr Whelan has 26 years’ experience as an investment
professional and has won multiple investment awards, including Lipper, PAM, Financial Times and Investors Chronicle recognition. IAM provides an advisory service suitable for
anyone with direct or fiduciary responsibility for investments. It was founded
in 1987 and now employs 17 staff.
