Private Bank Goes for Racing Millionaires

Sun Trust Bank has set up a private-banking unit in Daytona Beach, Florida to target millionaire racing car drivers from the NASCAR circuit. The Atlanta-based bank has sponsored the Pontiac Riley team in order to raise its profile in the sport. The bank has been actively developing private banking units to work with the entertainments and sporting industry. Two years ago Sun Trust set up a specialist unit to work with the music industry in Nashville.
