RBC Wealth Management Adds To New York Team, Brings In $530 Million Of AuM

RBC Wealth Management
has added five advisors with combined assets of $530 million to its New
York office, according to the firm’s Philadelphia, PA branch director,
Scott Ceniccola. The five advisors have an aggregate 70 years of experience in the
financial services industry and specialize in retirement planning and
serving high net worth individuals. Scott Sides, Josh Smeltzer and Brock Hively - who currently operate
as the Sides group - join RBC from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and will
also see the addition of financial advisor Thomas McCracken, who also
joins from MSSB, the firm said. The Sides group has a production of $2.4 million, with assets of $295
million in-house and a further $200 million of held away 401(k) assets. Meanwhile, financial advisor Denise Potter also joins RBC as an
individual producer from MSSB. She has partnered with the Sides team on
her 401(k) business. In other hires at the firm, Amy Jacobs and Linda Hickman also start as client associates. RBC Wealth Management has around C$534 billion (around $533 billion)
of assets under administration and more than C$313 billion of assets
under management.
