Old Mutual Asset Management Reinforces Global Distribution Strategy With London Hire

Old Mutual Asset Management has appointed Olivier Lebleu as head of non-US distribution for Old Mutual international in London - a role in which he will help develop the firm’s “core distribution competencies” in markets outside of the US. Lebleu will report to Julian Ide, head of Old Mutual’s global distribution arm. Prior to joining Old Mutual, Lebleu was a partner and member of the investment advisory committee at Stenham. Between 2005 and 2008 he was managing director and head of distribution at Boston/London-based MFS Investment Management. The firm has also revealed that hires within consultant relations and defined contribution will be announced shortly. Those who come to assume these roles will report to head of US distribution, Brian Carroll. Total ssets under management within the firm's 17 investment affiliates were $224 billion at 30 September 2011. Old Mutal Asset Management is the name through which Old Mutual US Holdings conducts its asset management business. Its parent company is London-listed Old Mutual.
