Janney Montgomery Scott Names Two To Key Private Client Roles

Janney Montgomery Scott, the Philadelphia-based financial services firm, has made two appointments for its private client group leadership team.

Jim Dornan has joined as senior vice president and regional manager of the 30 offices within the firm's realigned Western and Southern regional network, while Ray DiGaetano, a Janney veteran, has been appointed to the newly-created position of director of branch business development. 

Dornan previously worked for Morgan Keegan, where he managed the Washington area offices for the past year. Prior to that, he was with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and its predecessor firms for over 20 years. He will be working initially at Janny's Baltimore office before moving permanently to Washington DC. 

DiGaetano had served as the regional manager of the Western and Southern regions at Janney since 2005 and shall be based in Pittsburgh for his new position. He will be working closely with the private client group administration and branch managers to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
