Walkers Management Services, the UK-based fiduciary service provider, has bolstered its Hong Kong ranks with a new senior
vice president.
Michele Wan joins the firm from sister firm,
Walkers Law firm in Hong Kong, where she worked as an associate in the firm's corporate and finance group, specialising in asset finance, acquisition
finance, structured finance and debt capital markets. She will be leading a team of professionals
providing corporate services to clients in Hong Kong. These services include the
formation and set up of Hong Kong corporate entities, as well as the provision
of local services for Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands companies. "Our international expansion, which has
taken place across three continents during the past year, ensures that we are
able to meet the requirements of our clients in the markets that they want us
to be present in," said Nancy Lewis, chief executive officer of Walkers
Management Services. "These developments in Hong Kong are just the latest
phase of this expansion and the team there are all Hong Kong nationals,
offering language capability in Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese, as well as
German, so we can service our clients' needs in the most appropriate time zone
and language." In 2010, Walkers Management Services established offices in Delaware in the United States and in Dublin.
