Evercore Wealth Management, the financial services firm that caters to high net worth clients, has opened a new office in Minneapolis and named six new partners there.

Martha Pomerantz, Julie Krieger, Pam Lundell, Jason Anderson, Stacie Price, and Michael Seppelt join from Lowry Hill, a Minneapolis-based private asset management firm and part of Wells Fargo Bank. They report directly to Jeff Maurer, the chief executive based in New York.

As well as a partner, Pomerantz is co-manager at the new Evercore office. At Lowry Hill, she served as investment principal and co-chair of the investment committee.

Krieger has been appointed as a wealth advisor and co-manager. She was a financial principal and chief financial officer at Lowry Hill.

Lundell is also a wealth advisor, responsible for multi-generational wealth management and planning advice. She was a tax specialist at Lowry Hill.

In other moves, Anderson, former chief technology officer at Lowry Hill, takes on the role of head of information technology. Price, now a wealth advisor, used to work with individual and family clients at her old company, while Seppelt, now a portfolio manager and member of the Evercore Wealth Management equity selection committee, was previously an investment principal and portfolio manager.

Evercore Wealth Management is a division of the investment banking advisory firm Evercore Partners. As of 30 June 2011, the wealth arm records $2.9 billion in client assets under management.
