Nucleus, the IFA-owned and controlled wrap platform, has added three more firms to its network, bringing its total of sign-ups this year to 16.

The three new member firms are Essex-based Greenwood Financial Planning; Peterborough-based Tancreds and Financial Strategies, which currently has offices in Doncaster and Brigg.

Having first launched in 2006, Nucleus now has 90 member firms.

In other recent developments, last week Nucleus launched a new valuation tool which aims to improve the quality of information available to advisors and their clients.

The tool is said to have been developed in conjunction with the platform’s advisor community and aims to ensure users “have access to the right information in the most useful format”, according to a statement from the firm.

Features of the new tool include a single screen summary allowing advisors to see the total money invested by a client in one place and the value of it at any given time.
