First California Names Chief Banking Officer

First California Financial Group has appointed Gilbert Dalmau as executive vice president and chief banking officer of First California Bank. Dalmau brings 30 years of banking experience to the role, where he will be responsible for the production and management of loans and deposits while overseeing the retail banking services and business banking divisions across the firm's 19 locations. He steps in from Americas United Bank, where he was president and chief executive. He also previously served as president of the Southern California region for First Bank & Trust of St Louis. First California provides a full line of commercial banking products to small- and middle-sized businesses and high net worth individuals in Southern California. It has nearly $2 billion in assets under management.
