Goldman Sachs Appoints Senior Lawyer to UK Private Client Head

Goldman Sachs has appointed Ian Cain to the head of its UK strategic wealth advisory team. Mr Cain joins from law firm Boodle Hatfield, where he was a partner in the private client team. According to The Lawyer, the departure will be a blow to Boodle Hatfield’s private client team, although it is likely to result in stronger links between the law firm and Goldman Sachs.
