Aberdeen Property Investors Expands Into France

Aberdeen Property Investors has beefed up its European presence by opening an office in France. It already has offices in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Netherlands and Sweden. The office will be run by Jacques-Yves Nicol, who joins as managing director from real estate managers, Tishman Speyer. He worked at AIG, AXA, Bank of America and Bouygues. “France is a key market given its size as one of Europe’s largest markets,” said Ubbe Strihagen, international director of the Stockholm-based fund management group.
