SwissLife Banque Privée, the French private banking arm of the Swiss insurer, has appointed Ylan Cattan as a private banker in charge of private clients, reports the French press.

Cattan was latterly a private banker at Barclays Patrimoine, which he joined in 2004. Prior to this role he was a real estate asset manager at Liins (Groupe Marceau Investissement).

In his new role Cattan has been charged with working with clients to optimise their holdings. He reports to Daniel Resta, in charge of private clients.

In February SwissLife Banque Privée made a trio of hires, appointing Igor Boisson de Chazournes, Olivier de La Clergerie and Sabine Gressier as private bankers to be based in Paris.
