JP Morgan Chase Appoints Chairman Of Midwest Region

JP Morgan Chase has appointed Glenn Tilton as chairman of its Midwest business and member of its firm-wide executive committee. Tilton, who was latterly the chairman and chief executive of UAL Corporation and United Airlines, is now the senior executive across all JP Morgan’s businesses and functions in the region. Tilton also previously spent 32 years with Texaco. He will be based in Chicago for his new position, in which he will focus on recruiting talent, overseeing the firm's charitable contribution budget in the region, and coordinating government and public affairs initiatives, as well as maintaining key relationships with elected officials. "The Midwest is an important and growing region for our company, and Glenn Tilton is an exceptionally accomplished executive who is uniquely suited to oversee our efforts there," said Jamie Dimon, chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Chase.
