Nucleus, the IFA-owned wrap platform, has boosted its client relations team with three new hires.

Angela McGiffen has been named client relations manager, while Aileen Jeffrey and Lauren Beveridge have been appointed to provide client relations support. McGiffen, who was latterly wrap administrator at Standard Life Savings, will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing IFA partners, along with overseeing the provision of operational support.

Jeffrey was formerly pensions administrator at Capita Hartshead, while Beveridge was a customer services representative at Aegon Scottish Equitable.

All three appointees now report to client relations director Joanne Rutherford.

Back in March Nucleus appointed its third regional director, bringing in Martin Clement from Zurich Intermediary Group to cover the southwest and Midlands regions of the UK.

Nucleus this year signed up six new member firms - which include Assetz Wealth, James Hair and Co, Page Russell, Russell Gibson and Serenity - adding to the 80 IFAs already on its roster and boosting the assets on its platform to over £2.3 billion ($3.7 billion). The firm has said that it fully expects to have 100 firms on the platform before too long due to the level of interest in joining it is seeing as we edge ever closer to the Retail Distribution Review's implementation.
