Carson Wealth Management Group, an independent investment
and wealth management firm with $3 billion in assets under advisement, today has
rolled out its own independent SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm. The firm also announced its intention to establish a
broker-dealer in late 2011, it said in a statement today. The RIA will be led by Ron Carson, founder and chief
executive of Carson Wealth Management Group. The firm will also maintain its
relationships with TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab Institutional. Upon
establishment, the new broker-dealer will also be led by Ron Carson, and LPL
Financial will serve as its sole provider of clearing services. “We realize that the
marketplace is demanding more and more from advisors. We want to continue to stay ahead of the
competition and this required a move to our own RIA,” said Carson. Carson Wealth Management Group, founded in 1983, is an
Omaha-based independent investment and wealth management firm and oversees $3 billion
in assets under control.
