Brown Shipley, the UK private bank, has further boosted its Birmingham office with the appointment of Clive Batchelor and Adrian Lewis as senior private banking managers.

Both appointees were formerly private bankers at Coutts and will now work alongside their former colleague, Anne Brookes. February saw a coup for the bank’s Birmingham office, when it hired former Coutts senior client partner Brookes as private banking director.

The bank has said it has ambitious growth plans for the West Midlands; it currently manages £100 million ($161 million) of assets in Birmingham, regarded as England’s second city.

In addition to London and Birmingham, Brown Shipley also has offices in Manchester, Leeds and Edinburgh.
