Boodle
Hatfield, the UK-based private client law firm, has appointed Sara Maccallum as
the new head of its private client and tax department.
Maccalum, a tax lawyer, replaces Sue Laing after 10 years in the position, which
rotates between partners.
Maccallum joined Boodle Hatfield in 1997 and was made a partner in 1999. Since
2005 she has been head of the firm’s commercial tax group.
In other recent developments, at the start of the year the law firm expanded
its contentious trusts and estates team with the appointment of solicitor Mark
Lindley in January.
Established almost 300 years ago, Boodle Hatfield is a 35-partner firm,
specialising in property, private client and tax, corporate and family law,
with offices in London and Oxford.
