Pre-Tax Profits, AuM Gain Strongly At Brooks Macdonald

Brooks Macdonald, the UK-listed wealth management firm, said it logged a pre-tax profit of £3.06 million (around $4.93 million) in the six months to 31 December last year, a year-on-year increase of 24 per cent. Funds under management surged 46 per cent to £2.689 billion at the end of 2010, the firm said in a statement. It announced an interim dividend of 5 pence, up 67 per cent.
