First Republic Hires Managing Director In San Francisco

First Republic Bank has hired Philip Hill to work in its private wealth management business as portfolio manager and managing director at its San Francisco headquarters.

Hill joins from US Trust, where he was senior vice president and portfolio manager; before that, he worked for the Savant Group and Rankling Futures and Options.

First Republic said in a statement that it is continuing to expand to meet what it sees as increased demand from clients for wealth management services throughout its markets.

The bank and its subsidiaries provide private banking, private business banking and private wealth management services through offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, San Diego, Portland, Boston, Greenwich and New York City.
